(Fig. 1) Early on in the project it was neccessary to explain the project process at a very high, C-Level understanding. This diagram illustrates the process clearly and simply.

(Fig. 2) This is a sample image from an Adobe Photoshop file that was used to lay out page content and move it around until we and the client were happy.

(Fig. 3) The visual design of the Galyan's site spoke to the Galyan's customer by helping her/him quickly identify with the sport or activities they were most interested in.

Galyan's | Something's Always New

I have worked with Galyan's through three site redesigns, as well as two redesigns of private database sites for their vendors and retailers.

I have worked in many capacities with the client to ensure that each of these efforts are grounded in that they continually keep the user's experience in mind regardless of internal objectives and underlying politics.

The latest redesign effort combined an ambitions visual rebranding that turned out very well, I believe.

UPDATE: Galyan's has been bought by Dick's Sporting Goods - no word yet on whether I can somehow be involved in future projects.
